By popular request, here's a summary of what we discussed at the Y.E.S. event on April 24. Our discussion focused on green exhibiting and all the examples we saw in Vegas. Being green takes many forms, from exhibit display elements that are either recycled or recyclable, to green giveaway ideas. Lisa Keller from Custom Color shared tips from the Green Exhibits Roundtable she attended, and Ruth Scherrer from Exhibit Associates shared many new display ideas including: lightweight tension banners, slim light panels, and mini projectors. Marlys Arnold shared some new multisensory tools, such as using scents in your exhibit. Everyone shared clever giveaways they saw or received, and Phil Allemang from CAM provided more suggestions for green giveaways.
